IA

The Instant Architecture (IA) project was supposed to implement the state-of-the-art techniques from the computer graphics field for interactive visualizations. The focus of this project, as part of the lab project at the Computer Graphics (CG) group in the university of Bonn, was on instant architecture and automatic generation of the buildings useful for the generation of the game environment (e.g., cities) and other virtual environments. This project had four components—parsing, modeling, visualization, and integration—and was implemented in C++ using OpenGL, GLU, and FreeGLUTt. The goal was also to achieve the best possible rendering techniques for automatic generations of the buildings.
